Challenge

As a DJ known for her impeccable skill as an on air personality for BET and Power 99 FM and DJ for Lil Momma and Nicki Minaj, Diamond Kuts was seeking an outlet for continued growth.

Early on, she saw an opportunity to seize an untapped market as one of few female DJ’s. But as a brand that emphasizes vibrancy to the utmost, she was looking to find an effective blend of content and creativity.

Solution

Beginning in 2006, we transitioned Diamond to our process to coincide with the launch date of her new BET series “The Deal” to create a beautiful, robust brand and site. Images speak with bold statements. Movement captivates. And various sections of the site take on her personality.

Equally stunning is the front-end social site integration. The site includes a home page to organize Diamonds social networks to direct high-volume traffic. The navigation is simple and seamless without interrupting the brand experience. This, along with strategic marketing, mass media and product photography by M.A.D.E., has proven to be a potent formula for success.

Results

An increase in conversion rates and a significant year-on-year increase in brand value, making this campaign the number one Diamond Kuts online channel.

We have continued to partner with Diamond Kuts and expand her success with the addition of new social sites, websites, images, the introduction of mass media, and the development of strategy.
